I started keeping reptiles when I was 8 years old living in Chicago. My experience with reptiles and all other animals came as my parents owned a pet shop in Chicago for over 38 years. I have kept and bred just about every reptile out there, and then some. My wife Julie and I enjoyed vacationing in the Northwoods and lakes of Wisconsin in our early years. We eventually moved up to Wisconsin in 1991 with our two children Matthew and Sarah, and later had two more children, Rebekah and Elizabeth. In 1992, my wife and I became Christians and were saved by the Grace that Jesus Christ has offered us as a free gift, provided through faith. "For God so loved the world he that gave his only Son [Jesus], that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). Since then, we have remained and will forever remain firm in our faith in God's word. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God." (Ephesians 2:8). Our faith in God's Word (the Bible) and our love for the Lord is by far the most important thing we can have in this short life. I am always happy to share our faith in Jesus Christ with anyone who may feel inclined. Call us if you ever want to learn about what Christ has done for us and what he can do for you.
